Baltic Home 2 Exhibition. Local Dialogue.

2023-04-03

4-24 November 2022

Welcome aboard the second edition of Baltic Home, where the projects of contemporary artists will be juxtaposed with classics of seaside design. Will they engage in a common, local dialogue? What do furniture and objects say about themselves?

The utilitarian objects and furniture presented during the exhibition will speak out. Each of them designed according to a concept, crafted from the caring hands of artists who are enthusiasts of the modern, yet also with a touch of creating a better and more comfortable everyday life.

These are not furniture and objects for everyone. These are furniture and objects for all those who, while living globally, can appreciate local values. Local – because the uniqueness of these items is shaped away from large factories and the view of production lines, from the moment the concept appears in the mind of a local artist. This creates an image not only of great authenticity but above all, of love for what is ours and local!

Let’s see what objects have to say to us. Was the process of their creation delicate? What journey did they go through to be on display? What motivates their creators to seek new forms?

Among the exhibition, we will find utilitarian objects and furniture, including:
