International Development Norway AS
partner of the Aktywny Kreatywny project

IDN, a non-profit organization with vast experience in international projects, specializes in innovation projects and collaborations with various stakeholders. It originated in 2010 as a spin-off from SINTEF, the largest research institute in Scandinavia. Since 2004, IDN has played key management roles in implementing over 10 business incubators and innovation centers in Western Balkans and CIS countries.
These initiatives were funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. IDN has also contributed as a Norwegian expertise partner in several EEA and Norway Grants projects on renewable energy, energy efficiency, digitalization, business development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategy development. IDN’s contribution to entrepreneurship and innovation stems from extensive knowledge and experience both from Norway and internationally. As part of our approach, we collaborate with regional innovation systems to bolster the strategic development of the creative industries in Poland. IDN views the culture and creative sector as an integral part of the innovation ecosystem, and our role in the project will focus on the entrepreneurial and systemic perspective.
