“Captivating Speaker” – public speaking

2024-03-26

Public speaking is our everyday life, whether we’re presenting a project, hosting a cultural event, or giving a toast at a family gathering. Among us are those who feel comfortable with a microphone, as if they were born to it. There are also among us people for whom public speaking is a strong stressor.

So how can one become a speaker who captivates the hearts and minds of their audience? And how to harness our potential to make public presentations bring us a lot of satisfaction and, most importantly, allow us to take our audience where we want them to go with us?

It’s something that can be learned.
Therefore, I invite you to the „Captivating Speaker” workshop, where together we will become even more „captivating speakers”.

You will have the opportunity to learn:
• planning and preparing an impressive and effective presentation focused on the listener
• tools to make the speech emotionally engaging for the audience
• effective argumentation during the speech
• using the presenter’s own predispositions – how to remain natural while also utilizing a range of presentation styles
• how to work with voice and stage space during public speaking engagements
• coping with stage fright – I promise a few tips

We focus on practice.
Therefore, we ask each of you to prepare a 2-3 minute speech – a persuasive presentation to convince the audience about an idea, hobby, project, company, etc. This is how we will practice. In a safe atmosphere.
We will also share best practices, so we encourage you to be open to both receiving and giving.
