The International Creative Design Plus Congress is dedicated to the theme of creative industries and their impact on the region, economy, local identity, and business. The event aims to support entrepreneurship by promoting innovative solutions and actions that change the world for the better.
The 7th International Creative Design Plus Congress will take place in Szczecin on October 19-20, 2023, under the theme „Design as a Prescription”. The event will inaugurate a regional discussion on the role of art and culture in supporting well-being and health.
The conference will take place on October 19th from 17:00-20:00 at the Palace of the Pomeranian Gentry of the Academy of Art in Szczecin. Among the invited speakers are, among others: health space architect Marta Wysocka, performance artist Jan Bačynsjkyj, service designer & innovation manager Marta Truś, poster designer Wojciech Kołek, and legal advisor Agnieszka Sobejko.
As part of our collaboration with the CIRCOTRONIC project, we encourage you to bring small-sized electronic waste (such as phones, chargers, hard drives, e-cigarettes, etc.) to the collection point organized during the Congress.
The conference on October 19th will conclude with a banquet featuring a concert by CHANGO. They are a quartet of musicians from Szczecin known for their performances on the biggest stages in the country and beyond its borders. The group draws from numerous musical traditions, striving to create a certain unconventional style based on an experimental approach to live music creation.
On October 20th, we invite you to the INKU Creative Sectors Incubator for workshops, including: „How Technology is Changing Our Attention and What We Can Do About It?”, „Emotions and Art.”, „Mapping the Future”.
