Welcome aboard the Baltic Home exhibition, where the projects of contemporary creators will be juxtaposed with classics of seaside design. Will there be a common, local dialogue between them? What do the furniture and objects say about themselves?
The functional objects and furniture showcased at the exhibition will speak out. Each of them designed according to concepts, crafted from the caring hands of artists who are enthusiasts of what is modern, yet also imbued with a touch of creating a better and more comfortable everyday life.
These are not furniture and objects for everyone. They are for those who, while living globally, can appreciate local values. Local, because the uniqueness of these objects is shaped far from large factories and the sight of production lines, from the moment the concept arises in the mind of a local artist. This creates an image not only of immense authenticity but above all, a love for what is ours and local!
Let’s see what the objects have to tell us. Was the process of their creation delicate? What journey did they undergo to be featured in the exhibition? What motivates their creators to seek out new forms?
