Join us for a training session dedicated to branding, rebranding, and graphic design for non-governmental organizations (NGOs). During the workshops, we will focus on key elements such as composition, colors, typography, basics of copyright law, and an introduction to the Canva creator.
At the workshops, you will discover how to create or strengthen your NGO’s brand. You will learn how to effectively use composition to create cohesive and attractive graphic designs. You will also understand the principles of color and font selection that support your organization’s message and values.
Additionally, we will discuss basic legal aspects related to copyright law that are important to know when designing for NGOs. Topics will include protecting creativity, rules for using others’ materials, and avoiding legal issues.
As part of the workshops, we will also introduce the basics of Canva, a tool that facilitates graphic design. You will learn how to use Canva to create and share professional graphic projects and effective communication.
The workshops are dedicated to NGOs looking to develop their brand and visual communication. Whether you are just starting to work on your image or planning a rebranding, these workshops will provide you with practical knowledge and skills.
About the instructor: Hanna Wysocka – graduate of the Faculty of Visual Arts at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. She is a recipient of numerous scholarships and awards, including the Artistic Scholarship of the Mayor of Szczecin, the Scientific Scholarship of the Mayor of Szczecin, and the Rector’s Scholarship for the Best Students at the Academy of Art. She has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, including in Milan, Berlin, and Warsaw. Currently, she is the Creative Director at the Media Design Association and the Incubator of Creative Sectors, a graphic designer, and a cultural animator. She conducts creative workshops and workshops on design. She has collaborated with NGOs and cultural centers in Szczecin and Poland, including Nowe Horyzonty, the National Museum in Szczecin, the Artmosphere Foundation, Teatr Kana, the OFFicyna Association, and the Polish Foundation for Entrepreneurial Society. Certified PRINCE2® project manager. She completed a course at the West Pomeranian Business School “Academy of Leaders 2.0. Marketing and new media.” Certified Event Manager. Curator of the Baltic Home exhibition.
